Here is a list of all the fish in the My Sims game, as well as where to find them, what time of day to find them, their size, and a picture. If they are a large fish, their name will be in red. If they are small, their name will be in normal text. Please comment if you have any additional information for me (or better pictures.) >.<
Freshwater Fish
The Alligator (Rare)
1) King of the rivers and lakes around here.
2) Said to be found in the mountain area, but also under bridges sometimes.
3) It is a nocturnal animal that is only active at night.
4) An aggressive animal that is attracted to zigzagging lures, but reeling one in is very difficult.
5) Monstrous alligators sometimes appear in environmentally-clean areas.
Black Bass
1) Lives in bodies of water with gentle currents.
2) Cannot be caught in rivers with fast currents.
3) It feeds during the day and is quiet at night.
4) It's a fierce fish that is attracted to straight-moving lures.
5) Feeds on other smaller fish to grow, so the biggest black basses can be caught where there are a lot of other fish for them to feed on.
Brook Trout
1) Found in low-temperature waters.
2) Sometimes caught in the upper or lower streams of a river.
3) Most active during the day when water temperatures are still low, or during the evening when the water becomes cooler.
4) It is a timid fish and if the lure is moved too quickly, it will be scared away.
5) It can only live in clean waters, so cleaning up the environment near its river habitat is important to its survival.
Carp
1) Lives in lakes and rivers where there is very little current.
2) Often found in high altitude lakes.
3) It's an active feeder twice a day; once each day in the morning and evening.
4) Move the lure quickly to catch the fish's attention.
5) This fish is a big eater and large carps can be found where bait is plentiful.
Catfish
1) Lives in the muddy bottom of rivers and lakes.
2) Can be caught in mountain lakes or under a bridge.
3) Buried in the mud from morning to evening, and is difficult to catch during those hours.
4) Move the lure slowly to tempt the fish out in order to catch it.
5) Rivers with waterweeds are good habitats for catfish, and catfish often grow large in those waters.
Eel
1) A long, slender-bodied fish found living in the shadow of rocks.
2) Can be caught in lakes or upper parts of a river
3) A nocturnal fish mainly active at night.
4) Usually found lurking behind things, but if the lure is reeled in using a zigzag pattern, the eel will aggressively take the bait.
5) The best eels can be caught in clean and clear waters.
King Salmon (Rare)
1) A large kind of salmon.
2) Rarely caught in the upper or lower parts of a river.
3) Mainly active during the day or at night.
4) It is a very cautious fish and difficult to land one. Only interested in straight-moving lures.
5) Large salmon gather in clean rivers since they are necessary for their spawning.
Pike
1) Found in gentle currents.
2) Often caught in mountain lakes with gentle currents.
3) During the day is the best time to catch this fish.
4) It is a strong fish that will attack fast-moving lures.
5) It is said that huge pikes sometimes attack humans and can be found in places where the abundance of nature attracts many animals.
Rainbow Trout
1) Found in cold, fast-flowing bodies of water.
2) Often caught in low-temperature waters, in the upper streams of a river.
3) Not very active in the mornings or evenings.
4) A fierce fish that is aggressively attracted to straight movements.
5) The best rainbow trout can be found in fertile rivers with lots of waterweeds.
Sweetfish
1) Very territorial fish.
2) Often caught under a bridge.
3) Not so active from the evening to night.
4) Moving the lure in a straight line will make the fish believe that another fish has entered its territory, and the sweetfish will go in for the attack.
5) A clean river is important to the sweetfish and will attract more of their kind.
Saltwater Fish
Anomalocarid (Rare)
1) Thought to have become extinct a long time ago.
2) Rarely caught from an embankment.
3) Only active at night.
Barracuda
1) A notoriously ferocious fish.
2) Can be caught from a boat or the beach shore.
3) Actively looks for food all day long.
4) Move the lure in a zigzag pattern to anger the fish so that it will attack it.
5) Large barracudas are found in parts of the ocean where large schools of fish gather.
Horse Mackerel
1) Lives in schools in the sea.
2) Can be caught from a beach shore.
3) Swims in schools all day long.
4) Move the lure quickly to attract its attention.
5) Plankton is its food of choice, so the big horse mackerels are found in plankton-rich parts of the ocean.
Marlin (Rare)
1) Fast-swimming fish
2) Does not approach land, so the only way to catch it is by boat.
3) Stops being active at night when the sun goes down.
4) An aggressive fish that reacts to fast, straight-moving lures. But reeling one in is extremely difficult.
5) Feeds on other fish, so the largest marlins are found in parts of the ocean where there are plenty of other fish.
Sardine
1) Lives in schools.
2) Can be caught from a beach shore or an embankment.
3) Active all day long.
4) It is a demure fish and if the lure is moved too quickly, it will be scared away.
5) Large schools of sardines live in oceans where plankton is abundant.
Pacific Saury
1) Lives in schools near the surface of the ocean.
2) Can be caught from a beach shore.
3) Swims all day long following a fixed course.
4) Move the lure in a zigzag pattern to attract the fish.
5) The biggest pacific sauries are found in oceans with abundant aquatic life and few natural enemies.
Sea Bass
1) Swims all over the ocean on a fixed course.
2) Can be caught in the ocean from anywhere around this town.
3) Not very active during the day.
4) Move the lure quickly and the fish will aggressively come in for the bait.
5) Big sea basses can be caught in the ocean where there is a large river nearby.
Sea Bream
1) Found in oceans with a lot of reefs.
2) A boat should be used to catch these fish.
3) Active any time of the day.
4) It is a cautious fish, so a slow-moving lure is the best way to catch it.
5) Feeds on other fish to grow, so the biggest sea breams can be caught where there are a lot of other fish for them to feed on.
